The superb group Girlband is made up of 4 energetic and enthusiastic best friends Marisa, Phoebe, Titta and Laila from Wales.
Girlband had been practising before their X Factor audition with a view to impressing x factor judge Cheryl Cole.
At their audition they performed the Sam Brown sons "Stop".
Cheryl Cole Said there was good chemistry between the girls and the harmonies were good.
Simon Cowell thought the girls singing was O.K. but thought they were a little bit over dressed.
After a bit of a disagreement on the judges panel between Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole as to how the girls should have dressed, they were soon on their way to boot camp with the necessary 3 yes votes.
At boot camp the girls continued to impress and succesfully made it through to the judges houses stage of the competition.
04.10.08 update Girlband have now made it through to the judges houses stage of the competition and will be mentored by Louis Walsh.

20.10.08 Website updated :- Fans are shocked that Girlband are no longer in the competition. Many felt that Girlband could have and should have won this years X-Factor.
